La mayoría de los cuadros presentados aquí fueron realizados en 2013. Su tema es el puente Saint-Laurent de Mâcon (Borgoña), representado y declinado a través de diversas visiones fantasmagóricas. Jean-Paul Perrenx había bautizado esta serie con el nombre de "Les Personnages au pont".
As a symbol of the passage between life and death, the visible and the invisible, dream and reality, the bridge appears as a character in its own right in the painter's universe. It is worth noting that one of the artist's real painting palettes was inserted into the canvas "Woman with a Palette and a Dog", linking the painter indissolubly to this view of the Saône that he saw from his window.
