The collection consists of 40 paintings, created between 2013 and 2015, set on a beach with couples, riders, horses and all sorts of animals. There are references to well-known painters and works, but also to motifs that echo other series of the painter ("Ambiance", "Femmes vers Lunel", "Dormeurs dans l'herbe"). A painting from 1998 ("Personnages au cheval bleu qui passe") is included in this collection because it prompted the artist to take up and develop, fifteen years later, the theme of the initial painting, which represented a couple and a blue horse on a moonlit beach.
This painting no longer exists. It was covered with another paint in February 2015.
